How to reach Prague from Italy

By Air:
Fly with Alitalia or the Czech national airline CSA who operate daily flights between Milan, Rome Fiumicino (direct or via Milan), Bologna and Prague. Prague International Airport is called Ruzynè and is situated 18 km northwest of the city centre. There is a public bus service from the airport to the city, bus no. 119.
Every 30 minutes, CSA also runs a shuttle service from the terminal, V Celnici 5, to the city centre. Flight times: Rome-Prague: 2 hours. Milan-Prague: 1 hr 30 mins.


By Train:
There is no direct rail service from Italy. The best connections are via Munich (Hauptbahnhof) or (not direct) Vienna, (Sudbahnhof).
Minimum journey time to Prague is around 20 hours from Milan, around 24 hours from Rome.
